Every child has the right to achieve his or her highest level of physical function and psychological well-being. This can best be achieved by the child, the therapist, and the family or support group working together toward agreed upon therapy goals specific to each individual. Greater results are reached when therapeutic activity is fun and meaningful to the individual and the family. It is also our belief that the world of nature (animals and the outdoors) can provide a powerful setting in which to achieve traditional clinical goals. This belief is the focus of activity used at the Triangle Therapy facility.

Margie Benge, OTR/L, Owner

Margie Benge graduated with a B.S.degree in Allied Medicine, Occupational Therapy, from the Ohio State University. She has over twenty five years clinical experience working with physical disabilities in diversified settings, in several states. She was on faculty at Sinclair Community College for five years in the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program and has co-published a chapter in an O.T. textbook. Margie has extensive experience and continuing education with sensory integration and animal-assisted therapy. She is a registered riding instructor with the North American Handicapped Riding Association and is certified as a Level II therapist in Hippotherapy with the American Hippotherapy Association.
